The foreshore area has an esplanade and park with wheelchair friendly pathways(Ada Ryan Park). There is also a disability changing room and toilet facility at the surf lifesaving club. A beach wheelchair is stored at the surf life saving club with booking instructions signposted. Access to the beach is either via stair way or a concrete ramp way.
To the left of the surf life saving area is a unique round jetty which is also wheelchair accessible and provides a great marine watching experience and fishing opportunity.
All proceeds of the Wobbly Boots Big Lap go directly MDT and allow them to make a real difference in the lives of Tasmanian families struggling with the effects of Muscular Dystrophy and similar allied conditions.
Please be patient if you contact us - there will be times when we have no reception and we will usually be checking emails and messages at night as our days will be full. Thankyou for your Interest and support :) - Warren and Kathy
