I spent nearly 3 hours at the zoo. It was a very large area to circumnavigate so we hired a golf buggy to get around. This added to the experience but wasn't necessary as you can drive your own vehicle within the zoo. (I also found it a bit difficult getting into the buggy)
There is a lot of area to cover and lots of stops, starts and walking on compressed earth pathways to view the animals. There are picnic shelters for resting and toilet facilities available.
Some of the viewing platforms were inaccesible due to stairs but overall a great outdoor experience.
