Dropped in on our way through the town of Peak Hill.
I wasn't aware of MLAK keys so entry for anyone in a mobility vehicle or pram was inaccesible without one.....Or heading back to the visitor centre to gain access through the locked gate.
The site had some interesting information about mining in the area and provided signage for walking paths. The paths were between 1km-2km and described as steep so I didn't attempt. I did however follow the compacted dirt trail marked toilet access and came across a viewing platform of the gold mine.
It is therefore easily accesible to iew the minebutwould pose difficulty walking around the paths.
