The Boab Prison Tree is a 1,500-year-old, large hollow Adansonia gregorii (Baobab) tree 6 kilometres south of Derby. The age of this Boab and its use over many years places it as a sacred burial site.

It also has great significance as a reminder of the abhorrent treatment of indigenous people during colonisation and slavery.
