Taronga Zoo is built on a hill side making it quite difficult to navigate around. A lot of infrastructure has been built into the attraction to make it accessible for wheelchairs and prams. There are lifts available to move from one teir to another however there are also quite steep pathways, which I found difficult.
There is a lot of walking at this zoo and a lot of ground to cover to view all the wildlife. I would recommend having a plan beforehand and working out what you want to see and factoring some rest points. Make use of the sky lift.....And only walk downhill!
