Entry is a 1 hour tour throughout the complex with a guide. There is no seating available as you are expected to move along with the tour group and do not have opportunities to linger.
The tour involves viewing various aquariums and leaning about sealife. Some of the exhibits require standing on platforms or climbing a 2 story staircase to look into aquariums, however the majority are easily viewed from ground level.
The highlight is the shark aquarium, where a bridge has been built over their aquarium. I found the entrance to the bridge difficult as it was uneven and had rope handrails which provided no stability.
All proceeds of the Wobbly Boots Big Lap go directly MDT and allow them to make a real difference in the lives of Tasmanian families struggling with the effects of Muscular Dystrophy and similar allied conditions.
Please be patient if you contact us - there will be times when we have no reception and we will usually be checking emails and messages at night as our days will be full. Thankyou for your Interest and support :) - Warren and Kathy
