Handcrafted small batch whisky distillery located 20 minutes out of Hobart. Acclaimed for being the first Australian whisky distillery to win ‘Best Single Malt Whisky in the World’ at the World Whiskies Awards in 2014. They've subsequently won World’s Best Single Cask Single Malt twice in 2018 and 2019.
They are currently have tastings and tours at their premises in Cambridge. For now Sullivans Cove Distillery are in an industrial area and operate out of a two story warehouse space which means their tastings and tours are not accessible to mobility impaired people. They will do their best to accommodate all visitors but the space dedicated to tastings are on the second level and there is a step up to get into their retail space.
This will change when they open a new facility for tastings and sales which will have accessibility very much in mind.

Had a wonderful experience at the distillery. Ally was welcoming, informative and passionate about the local world class whisky. We had an opportunity to taste and view the whisky production however currently disabled access to the site is problematic and would make the experience difficult for mobility impaired people. This was largely due to it being an industrial site with multiple stairs.
The distillery will be moving to new premises in the not to distant future and accessibility will be a priority.
